GLYNNEATH 5 MILE

The Glynneath 5 Mile Boxing Day Run will be in its 25th year in 2011 and Human Being Active are proud to support this fantastic event.

Glynneath 5 Mile Boxing Day RunThe Glynneath Five originated in 1986. It was supposed to be the Neath Valley Race – held at Glynneath. A Five Mile road race was set up by Arthur Phillips, an experienced runner.

The race is different to other races – it encourages all types of runners – from beginners to international class runners. It is a Race and Fun Run combined.

A RACE FOR ALL

Absolute beginners are welcome and can win a prize – Improvers Trophies (beating last year's time). This is unique in a Road Race in South Wales.
