There will be a brand new Human Being Active event for 2011. The Llanelli Waterside - HBA-5-10-20 will add to the growing list of Human Being Acvtive events that will encourage people to move towards and stay with a healthy active lifestyle.

The event will take place on the 4th December 2011 and participants can choose to run over a 5, 10, or 20 mile course.

Supported by Carmarthenshire County Council and the Llanelli Star, the event will attract runners from accross the UK and provide a significant boost the the Llanelli economy.

The  terrain will be mostly flat and is within the beauty of Carmarthenshires award winning Millennium Coastal Park. It will be suitable for runners of all abilities and will also include a corporate challenge.

The HBA-5-10-20 event will be in support of the Wales based charity TENOVUS.

At Tenovus their aims are simple: to help prevent, treat and find a cure for cancer.

In doing that they offer support, advice and treatment for cancer patients, information on cancer prevention and funding for research to improve the outcomes for people with cancer. They do this where it is needed most - right at the heart of the community.
